It is located in Karangasem regency built by I Gusti Bagus Djelantik. He was the late king of Karangasem. The launching of Taman Ujung water palace was in 1912. It was built to serve and welcome kings and guest from other countries. Also, it was used as a recreational spot for the king and the family

Tirta Gangga Water Palace

Tirta gangga water palace is located in Karangasem regency. It has a maze of fountains and pools. It’s surrounded by beautiful statues and stone carvings. Not to mention there’s a lush garden around this location. Even though it was almost completely destroyed during the eruption of Mount Agung, the local government was able to restore and rebuild it. It remains magnificent these days. The area around the water palace is also surrounded by rice paddy terraces.

Lempuyang Temple or Gate of Heaven

Pura Lempuyang Luhur is one of Bali’s oldest and most highly regarded temples, on par with Besakih. It is also believed to predate the majority of Hindu temples on the island. Definitely a highlight on any travel itinerary for the fit and adventurous, the main temple lies at 1,175m above sea level, up on the peak of the namesake Mount Lempuyang in East Bali. this temple has famous gate to take picture, people call it “Gate of Heaven”.
